Host your event in London's past and discover its future… London is one of the most vibrant, diverse and exciting cities in the world and the Museum of London tells the story of its success from 400,000 BC through to 2012. The Museum is one of the world's largest urban history museums, caring for over two million objects in its collection and holding the largest archaeological archive in Europe. The Museum of London offers you a brand new selection of unique, contemporary and flexible spaces in a central location, to accommodate any daytime or evening event. Whether you need an exclusive, glamorous fine dining experience for 250 people, a 220 seat theatre for screenings or a smaller intimate meeting space, the Museum's newly refurbished spaces will provide the perfect setting.
The Sackler Hall can be transformed into a perfect setting for any event where you can entertain your guests underneath a permanent, ceiling-mounted, 48 metre LED oval shaped curtain, complete with a bank of nine plasma screens. The installation can be used to meet specific event requirements either displaying text or a stunning lighting effect. The space is modern, innovative and perfect for any event.
The City Gallery is home to the iconic Lord Mayor's State Coach, providing a breath taking backdrop for any event. This flexible space, 250 square metres in size, can be used in addition to the Sackler Hall or simply as a stand alone event space.
Our recreated Pleasure Gardens, complete with authentic trees, provide a dramatic backdrop with exquisitely dressed characters modelling specially commissioned hats and masks by Philip Treacy. This unique area represents what was a completely new form of entertainment in its day and is guaranteed to add a piece of theatre to any event.
