Adam Street is completely unexpected - to discover this unusual labyrinth under such a familiar London street like the Strand is part of the excitement of coming to the club.
At the heart of the club is a fabulous 60-seater restaurant serving excellent English food. The menu and epic wine list are the combined work of Nick Tarayan and their Head Chef Chris Kiel, both ex-Leiths. There are also two huge bars, a dance floor, and private rooms for meetings, exhibitions, parties and private dining.
Membership is by invitation only and members not only benefit from access to the marvellous Adam Street but events, parties and a place to work.
The Library at Adam Street is a peaceful and fully-equipped place to work (it is also a good place to nod off) with work stations, free internet access, newspapers and arguably the biggest stapler in any Private Members' club in London.
The membership is open to freelancers, 'footfallers' and friends.
Adam Street is a relaxed and useful retreat for hard-working, fun, beautiful, unpretentious, intelligent, cool, well-informed people who enjoy their work, their wine, their food and, most of all, each other.
