The HAC is one of the City's true hidden gems; an oasis of green amidst a city of glass and steel. This extremely versatile venue has a fantastic range of facilities making it perfectly suited to a whole spectrum of events. Inside Armoury House, several elegant rooms are available for hire including the traditional and very lovely oak-panelled Long Room which enjoys fantastic views of the grounds as well as smaller meeting and dining rooms. Each can be hired independently or in conjunction with each other.
For larger events the contemporary stylishness and sheer flexibility of the Prince Consort Rooms mean that it is quickly becoming one of the most popular and dynamic venues in the City of London. The Prince Consort Rooms has its own courtyard entrance leading off the grounds ensuring complete security and privacy from Armoury House. This courtyard and planter area can also be used for receptions and refreshment breaks giving both inside and outside options depending on the weather.
The Prince Consort Rooms has an atmospheric lighting system with remote controlled pinspot lighting and uplighters as well as an inbuilt sound system, air conditioning and secure wireless broadband. At full capacity it seats 450 for a conference or 350 for a dinner and dance and accommodates many more for an informal stand up event. The versatility of this “blank canvas with character” means that it is equally suited to an awards dinner, conference or Christmas party as it to a product launch or wedding reception.
Superb though the facilities in the Prince Consort Rooms and Armoury House are, it is undoubtedly the six acre Artillery Garden which makes the HAC unique. This stunning garden comes into its own in the summer months when it can be hired for a game of cricket, softball or croquet; a mouth-watering barbecue, corporate fun day with inflatables, summer Pimms reception or team-building activities. With events having to work ever harder in these difficult financial times, more and more clients are taking the option of combining a summer party or team building event on the gardens with a conference in the Prince Consort Rooms.
