Kettner's

Kettner's has a long and colourful history of putting on show-stopping events. Its soirées, gatherings and parties are legendary. In its heyday it was the preferred hang-out of regulars including Oscar Wilde, King Edward VII, his mistress Lillie Langtry, Agatha Christie and Bing Crosby.

Today, the restaurant's nine splendidly flamboyant rooms can be booked for parties, premieres, launches, weddings, private dinner parties, meetings, pitches, training and interviews. Each room has its own distinctive personality. Individually, they hold between two and 200 people, so they're suitable for events ranging from an intimate dinner à deux right up to a rollicking party.

Kettner's is made up of four converted Georgian town houses. Its façade exemplifies the sophistication and grandeur of the period's architecture. The ground floor is usually kept open to the public. On occasion, however, it can be hired out for large events in conjunction with all the private rooms. When booked out in its entirety, the house has a capacity of 600.

The Salon, Tete a Tete, The Studio - These three private dining rooms have been restored to their resplendent glory. Perfect for private dinners and presentations alike. The rooms are equipped with fully integrated IT systems including wall mounted plasmas.

The Apartment - The Apartment is a club-like space, which guests enter via a secret entrance on Greek Street. It holds up to 100 guests for a drinks reception or 70 for a seated dinner. Created in the style of a retro French film director's lair, it comes complete with casting couches! It has its own drinks cabinet, piano and music system.

Salle de Fete - The Salle de Fete is the ideal Soho party venue, divided into 3 areas: the Salle, the Attic Bar and the Den.
